　Distributed power supply systems that use gate drivers with built-in flyback converters are attracting attention for EV in-vehicle inverters because they allow for reductions in mounting area and cost. The Si8284 released by Skyworks is a gate driver with a built-in flyback converter control, and features a fast DESAT function detection time of less than 1 us and a high isolation voltage of 5.0 kVrms.
