- The IONIQ 5, a highly acclaimed new electric vehicle from Hyundai Motor has gained recognition worldwide. It was launched in South Korea in April 2021 and available in Japan from May 2022.
- The IONIQ 5 boasts an impressive single-charge range of 618 kilometers (for the top-tier grade) and a vehicle price starting at ¥5.19 million. It offers a competitive price point compared to domestically produced EVs. The IONIQ 5 has received high praise globally, particularly in Europe and the United States. The front inverter features Infineon-manufactured power modules (the latest model) and does not include current sensors.
