Package appearance | Package X-ray | Secondary chip overview |
Overview
The LEXUS RZ450e is the first model of a full-electric battery electric vehicle model in LEXUS lineup. It is the first inverter installed in Toyota vehicle to use SiC MOSFET (manufactured by Denso).
The gate driver, which drives the SiC MOSFET, is also made by DENSO and it has a three-chip configuration including primary driver IC, secondary driver IC and the die for insulation.
In this report, we focus on the secondary driver IC and the function of each block estimation from the planar observations is included.
