Overview
- Mitsubishi Motors’ kei car type BEV (Battery EV), planned and developed by NMKV, was released in June 2022. Note that the Nissan Motor’s Nissan Sakura model only differs in appearance.
- The WLTC (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle) driving range on a single charge is 180 km, and the vehicle price starts from 2.39 million yen.
- The eAxle system includes components manufactured by Nissan Motors (inverter) and Meidensha (motor, similar to the one used in OUTLANDER PHEV).
- This report focuses on the teardown of the eAxle’s inverter section, including the disassembly process and investigation of major components.
