Overview

• Toyota’s first EV in the bZ series, developed jointly with Subaru, is an SUV type.

   It was launched in May 2022.

• The range is 559 km for FWD (540 km for 4WD).

   Vehicle prices are 6 million yen (FWD) and 6.5 million yen (4WD).

• The eAxel system is developed by BluE Nexus, Aisin, and Denso.
• This report covers the teardown of the eAxel system, including its mechanical components and the inverter unit.
