A paper from LTEC Corporation ‘The current status and trend of 1200V commercial SiC MOSFET’ was published in the June issue of IEEE Power Electronics Magazine.
This paper examines state-of –art, mass produced 1200V SiC MOSFET from leading manufacturers and benchmarks them to identify some of technologies considered essential to achieve reliable operation at high junction temperature. We review performance data deemed essential to the system designer but that are often not provided , or provided with insufficient clarity for assurance purpose. And the cost analysis is also discussed.
