Overview

In order to shorten charging time, which is one of the challenges for BEVs, efforts are being made to increase the charging output power, and OBC (On-Board Chargers) are also required to have higher output. Newly developed EV-specific “CFM-EV” platform is shared by Nissan SUV “Ariya” and Renault SUV “Megane”.

This is tear down report of  DELTA OBC installed in Nissan Ariya, which has  7.4kW output.
